Festival Highlights

Join on September 20-21 for two full days of live music.

Upon arrival pick up a map and schedule at the info booth at Telegraph Ave. and Haste St. Prior to the event you can download a schedule/map here.

Saturday offers a mix of outdoor and café music near UC Berkeley, Noon- 9 pm. People’s Park features a Dance Concert, Crafts Market and KIDS ZONE, Noon - 6 pm.

On Sunday, the “Ave” becomes a stage with a concert area, KIDS ZONE, street music, crafts and visitor activities.

BERKELEY WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL - Autumn Equinox

The assembled musicians wil again offer you a stunning show. Upon arrival pick up a performance map & schedule at Main Info booth facing Telegraph Ave on Haste St. - next to Amoeba Music, 2455 Telegraph.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER - 19th Pre-Festival Party
It's the only BWM Fest affiliated event w/ cvr - Support Ashkenaz who supports BWMF

Missia Saran Diatate, from Guinea, graces Ashkenaz with a fiery brand of danceable "Electro-Mandingo Music", at Ashkenaz. 1317 San Pablo Ave, near Gilman St in Berkeley, 9:30 show, w/ cvr: $15 adv/ $18 on Fri.

Telegraph Avenue Street Faire

The closed Telegraph Ave. (between Dwight Way & Durant Ave) becomes a stage for the merged Berkeley World Music Festival and the season finale of Sundays on Telegraph. Join us for a mix of main stage entertainment,  street music 'n art, circus, community and interactive play.
